Intro/Con.

The crisis of Tibet has been a long debated topic. After China made itself known as the ruling force over Tibet, many of Tibet's freedoms were taken along with. The Chinese government made Tibet into a true Chinese nation by trying to eliminate all knowledge of the Tibetan traditions and replacing their culture with that of the Chinese. The main causes for outrage of the Tibetan citizens have been the ruthless quelling of independence movements and the exile of the Dalai Llama.

All of these events show how much freedom means to these people. After the shutting down of monasteries to ensure the elimination of their traditions and the mass killings of independent radicals, the world should look to find a way to make peace between China and Tibet by making Tibet a self-governed nation. The Dalai Llama has been fighting for a long time and it's about time organizations like the UN should start helping.
